AMI Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Consultant for an international healthcare project to diagnose and design a high level transformation program for five government hospitals in Asia, The first phase will include the diagnostic of the transformation program and to offer pathways for improvement in hospital transformation plans. 
The second phase will be implementation of a comprehensive program and hands-on support in the early stages of the roll-out. The third phase will provide support to the facilities and training workshops to be organized for staff. 

Candidates must have at least five(5) years experience in healthcare consulting and in hospital transformation and ideally have previous international experience. 

Expected contract engagement is twelve (12) month on this project.

Required Skills and experience:
  • Skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data in order to provide input to decisions, problem solve difficulties and anticipate need for change.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, solve problems, make decisions and recommend creative solutions.
  • Ability to establish priorities and coordinate the work activities of a variety of clients in a multitude of locations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, employees, and team members.
  • Proficient computer skills, including:  Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work well under pressure including tight deadlines and multi-task prioritization.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of all work assignments and information gained in the course of employment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Exceptional tact and diplomacy in all levels of communication.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures sufficient to carry out day to day activities.
  • Knowledge of fiscal management sufficient to aid in the operation of the practice sites within budgetary constraints and with maximum financial efficiency.
  • Human resource management techniques sufficient to provide leadership to a diverse group of employees with sensitivity to legal and practical concerns.
  • Knowledge of the practice management computer system and its application sufficient to carry out job responsibilities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Five (5) years experience in healthcare industry, preferably in managed care and practice management.
