AMI Healthcare is expanding its operations into SE Asia in developing and operation hospitals in the region. For our new corporate office in Bangkok, Thailand, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee and manage the financial affairs our our subsidiary.
The CFO directs the organizations financial planning and accounting practice and will develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, shareholders and and the organization as a whole. He/She will oversee and direct the treasury, budget and tax, accounting and finance, investment and insurance activities. The CFO will oversee the project finance for all new hospital developments and will develop policies and procedures for accounting accounting and finance for the projects and for the organization. He/she will analyze, consolidate and direct all procedures and produce regular reports and statistical information and direct and analyze studies of economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the organization, its policies and operation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • B.A. in Accounting or Finance
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Cost Accounting experience required
  • Experience with new project development and large finance operation required
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years prior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
  • Candidates with international experience preferred
  • Must be willing to relocate
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participates in long- and short-term financing process
  • Oversees, directs and manages the development of accounting and financial control policies
  • Provides advice and guidance as necessary in preparing and analyzing financial reports and executes appropriate responsive actions
  • Services on the Board of Directors
  • Provides regular financial reports for shareholders
  • Coordinates short term cash-activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Is responsible for the cash management decisions and works with appropriate investment managers in coordination of fund transfers
  • Provides assistance and advice to department managers in interpreting financial data and reports and in presenting that information to all relevant stakeholder groups
